2012 Falcons Boys Fall Fun League Information

Walk-up Registration

8am High School – 9:30am Youth

 

High School & 5th-8th grade  

When: Sundays, September 23 – October 28

Where: Penn Valley Elementary School, 180 Northturn Lane, Levittown, PA 19054

High School Division

Varsity/JV  Most Games at 9am & 10am

Teams represented: Pennsbury, Holy Ghost, Neshaminy, Conwell-Egan, Council Rock South & North, Truman,  Notre Dame (NJ), Father Judge, Archbishop Ryan, Hopewell Valley (NJ), Robbinsville (NJ), and <add your team here!>

Description: Games are played on a modified field with 7 players on a side – 1 goalie, 2 defensemen, 2 midfielders, and 2 attackmen. 25-minute halves, with a 2 minute half-time. All substitutions on the fly, no time-outs. Players must play the ball, take-out checks are not permitted. Bravehearts will be used to break ties.

From Route 1, take Route 13 South 3 miles
Exit at Mill Creek Pkwy, take a right at the end of the ramp
*Proceed 1/4 mile down Mill Creek Parkway and take the 3rd right onto N Park Place
Turn Left onto Northturn Lane
School is on the left

(From PA Turnpike Take Exit 358, then Route 13 north for 4 miles to Mill Creek Parkway. Take a left onto Mill Creek Parkway and follow directions from * above).

 

Important Information for Opening Day – Sunday, September 25

Right now Varsity games are at 9 and 10am, JV games are at 11am & noon. Varsity teams might play 2 games. Be prepared. We offer unlimited play for goalies – if you’re a goalie and want to play all morning, please arrive at 8:30 and you will be most welcome!

In order to expedite last minute registrations and final team assignments, please arrive at the following times:

Fall Development Program – 5th/6th Grade (with Coach Paul Deppi, 2011 US Lacrosse Youth Coach of the Year)

The 5th/6th Grade Program is designed for the player who is interested in taking their game to the next level.  We welcome new and experienced players in grades 5-6 to come out and challenge yourself to improve.  Each session will break down each session into a time of skill development and game play.  Each week will focus on a different fundamental skill and then work in drills and full field games to reinforce the concepts learned.  Areas of  focus will include stickwork, dodging, defensive positioning, shooting, faceoffs, and the transition game.
